Fields

As we have moved location our fields are all new. They are constantly under construction, with older fields being improved, and new fields springing up.

At the moment we have eight fields in regular use.

  • Village
  • Drums
  • Somme
  • Graveyard
  • Canada
  • Lego Land
  • Forbidden
  • Victory

Our fields are set in a pine forest plantation. You can expect gullies, ditches, trees, trenches and more.

Many more fields are planned including a full sized tournament field, currently under construction.

Victory

In early February our newest field "Victory" reached a playable state. The brainchild of our referee Victor Hoile, it is an intense trench and sand bag field. With a barricade dense midfield, central objective, and strong pillbox positions it makes for extremely satisfying king of the hill style games.

The Village

With countless ways to tackle the objectives the Village is an exquisite field to play. It consists of a large wooded village, cut in half by a winding two meter deep gully. The gully itself has three ideal crossing points, one at either end, and one at its center.

With new buildings being added all the time, this field is only going to get better!

Canada

Canada is a speed ball maze field. It's jam packed with a huge variety of structures created from plastic and galvanized steel. The maze like nature of the field allows for tense play behind enemy lines.

Graveyard

Play on the Graveyard revolves around a centrally located van with one team desperately trying to hold of the other's assault.

Somme

Battles on the Somme take place along two banks of a gully running down the center of the field. The barricades are low and many, and cunning players can crawl deep into enemy territory before shooting unsuspecting players on the far bank.

LEGO LAND

One word: speedball. This is one of our fastest playing fields. It's narrow and packed with man-made bunkers, making for a fast paced, in-your-face game. Play revolves around the brightly painted timber structures with the action heating up as players hit the barricade-rich halfway line and begin pushing the assault.

The Drums

This field has been created with hundreds of 44 Gallon drums screwed together into a variety of shapes. The three dimensional nature and sheer size of the barricades makes for intense battles as players find blind spots to break through enemy lines.

Forbidden

Nestled at the far reaches of Area 1's gullies, Forbidden is located in an area of rich vegetation. Shallow ditches and dense foliage make for tense games of cat and mouse.
